From 16 to 20 August 2010, the Danske Bank Group’s IT development organisation, one of Denmark’s largest IT workplaces, will open its doors to 20 graduate students. Through work on a specific topic, we will challenge you as a student to think creatively and give us your input for the development of the bank of the future under the headline “The mobile bank in 2012”. Cross disciplinarity and networking
This is the first time that Danske Bank invites students to provide input for the development of a specific new concept. At Danske Summer School
, you will enjoy a week of professional inspiration, presentations from experts, individual feedback and networking across fields of study. Theory put into practice
The 2010 Summer School offers a good opportunity to test your theoretical knowledge on a practical case. The subject is high on our strategic agenda, and you will have a sense of the challenges you may meet in your future work. Management interest
The management of the IT development organisation takes an active interest in the programme. It will follow work on the case during the summer school week and evaluate the performances and results of the various groups.
“We look forward to the students’ creative thoughts and ideas for the mobile bank of the future,” says Development Manager Claus Hjort Bjerre, who is responsible for the programme. “Our first task is to develop innovative, user-friendly solutions to the benefit of our customers. And we strongly believe that the students can make a positive contribution,” Bjerre adds. Career stepping stone
Danske Summer School is designed for you who are interested in business and IT development, user experience and the digital world, and are perhaps considering joining the Group’s Danske Graduate - Development & IT programme at the end of your studies.
